Our Neighbourhoods
High Park
Rated #3 best neighbourhood in Toronto by TorontoLife magazine. Together with the Bloor West Village (directly west) this community offers a selection of boutiques, restaurants, and shops. Great access to public transit along the subway line (Bloor/Danforth Line), affords quick and easy access to the city centre.
This West end community takes it name from the adjacent park (400 acres) which is a mixed recreational and natural park, with sporting facilities, gardens, playgrounds, zoo and ponds. One third of the park remains in a natural state, with a rare oak savanna ecology. Opened in 1876 and is the largest park contained within the city limits.
Roncesvalles Village
West end community adjacent to High Park and Lake Ontario prominently residential with a commercial strip of small businesses, independent movie theatre, and coffee shops. This area is very well known for a large number of small restaurants of various cuisines, with some offering live music. Public transit (since 1890s) offers travelers convenient access to nearby subway (Dundas West Subway) and the city centre.
